SG Petch Hamsterley Forest Stages Rally 2005

Following last year’s cancellation when not enough entries were received, there is to be no such repeat this year as with still over two weeks to go until the closing date on November 5th, Ripon Motor Sport Club Ltd have received over sixty entries so far for the 2005 SG Petch Hamsterley Forest Stages Rally which takes place on Sunday 13th November.

Double British Rally Champions Jonny Milner and Nicky Beech made a triumphant return to the Kwik-Fit Pirelli British Rally Championship this weekend. Driving an MSR Motorsport run Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII, the duo produced a polished performance to take 4th overall and the Production Category victory on the Trackrod Rally Yorkshire.

The curtain came down on the 2005 season in style for Etchilhampton near Devizes in Wiltshire brothers Tommy and Ollie Bridewell, who both impressed in their respective races at the final round of the 2005 Bennetts British Superbike Championship which was held in front of another massive 35,000 plus crowd at Brands Hatch today.
