North Humberside Forest Rally - Saturday 29th March 2008

FOUR MONTHS AFTER BREAKING HIS NECK, HE WINS AGAIN!




Having sustained the injury whilst competing on the East African Safari Rally in Kenya back in November, the Chesterfield businessman has been out of action since as his injuries healed but after being declared fit by his doctors just prior to the North Yorkshire event, he rocketed his Ford Focus WRC to a convincing victory to reach the Whitby finish some 45 seconds ahead of his closest rival.

A capacity 150 cars will line up in Jedburgh next weekend ready to take part in one of the Border region's main sporting events when the Brick & Steel Border Counties Rally gets underway next Saturday morning.

Lindefjell ready for "Maximum attack" at Blyton

2003 European Rallycross Champion - Guttorm Lindefjell has confirmed his participation in the second round of the 2008 Rallycross Open Championship at Blyton Circuit on April 13th. The Norwegian driver will lead a strong Division 1 entry at event including a number of European competitors as the Championship heads to one of the fastest circuits on the Rallycross calendar.

Crews set for battle in round three of Motoscope Northern Historic Rally Championship

Five crews will battle it out for the honours in round three of the Motoscope Northern Historic Rally Championship, the SMC Stages, on Sunday (30 March).



Paul Drinkall and Roy Brown are the top seeds at number 18 in their Porsche 911 for the Weeton Camp-based tarmac event with David Marshall and Chris Hudson entered in their Ford RS1600 at number 26.

Kumho Tyres MSA British Rallycross Championship

Round one, Lydden Hill, 23-24.03.08

Current champion Ollie O’Donovan won the first round of the 2008 Kumho Tyres MSA British Rallycross Championship at Lydden on Easter Monday. The two-day event witnessed mixed weather conditions, including snow on Sunday, before O’Donovan emerged as the winner with Steve Hill and Dermot Carnegie joining him on the podium.

PSM Motorsport take delivery of European specification cars

PSM Motorsport have confirmed they have concluded a deal to buy a brace of Renault Meganes to increase their portfolio of arrive and drive hire cars. The cars both conform to Division 2 European Rallycross Championship regulations and come with pedigree from their own domestic championship over the last few years.
