Cronin Pips Higgins to Claim Bulldog International Rally Victory

After a titanic battle, the Bulldog International Rally of North Wales has been won by Irishmen Keith Cronin and Greg Shinnors in their Mitsubishi Evo 9 as they finished a narrow nine seconds ahead of former champion Mark Higgins and co-driver Bryan Thomas in their Subaru Impreza N11 on the 82-mile Bala-based event.

Round 1 of the FIA European Rallycross Championship at Lydden Hill Race Circuit, Kent - 12/13 April

With the ERC fast approaching a lot of effort has been put into making this meeting one of the biggest UK motorsport events of the 2009 season.

The event has so far attracted drivers from all across Europe, with over 20 Division 1/Supercars already entered, with the likes of front runner and Championship defender Kenneth Hansen and also local drivers Pat and Liam Doran.

2009 Motoscope Northern Historic Rally Championship
Round 1, Motoscope Riponian Forest Stages - Sunday 15th March 2009


After the disappointment of the enforced postponement of the Motoscope Riponian Rally last month due to snow and the subsequent cancellation of the Robin Hood Stages Rally due to lack of entries, the opening round of the Motoscope Northern Historic Rally Championship finally got under way when the rescheduled Riponian took place on Sunday.

BULLDOG INTERNATIONAL RALLY OF WALES CHARITY FORUM

The organisers of the Bulldog International Rally of North Wales are holding a forum in the Royal International Pavilion in Llangollen on the evening of Friday 27th March.

The forum will start at 8.00pm and the compere is Pat Flynn. Admission is free but there will be a collection in aid of the Welsh Air Ambulance.

Latest News of the North of England Tarmacadam Rally Championship

A bitterly cold Crail Raceway was the location for the 4th round of this year’s championship. And once again the weather was dry with bright sunshine, but a strong easterly wind rushing in off the North Sea made things feel very Arctic with sub zero temperatures. The entry was 84 strong for the offering of good tarmac and wide runways mixed with tight chicanes and a few narrow, concrete sections around the old, disused airfield from the World War 2 era.

Good Result for UTS Rally Team at Crail Despite Problems

Pete Gibson and Adam Bradford continued their pursuit of the AS Performance North Of England Tarmacadam Rally Championship and started their campaign for the Hytorc Scottish Tarmack Rally Championship at the DCC Crail Stages at Crail Raceway near Dundee. Currently leading their class in the AS Performance NETRC the UTS Rally Team were confident heading into this event, one that neither of the team had competed on before.

PSM Motorsport have today announced that Northern Irish Rally legend Eugene
Donnelly from County Londonderry, will contest the opening round of the 2009
Fuchs Lubricants Rallycross Open Championship at Croft Circuit (Darlington)
on Sunday March 22nd. Donnelly will drive one of the PSM Motorsport Procar
2000 Renault Megane's at the event, as he makes his debut in the Rallycross
Open Championship.
