Poole driver Marcus Dodd heads to familiar territory next weekend as the multiple National Rally Champion goes for glory on the gravel roads of Mid Wales. Dodd will contest the Severn Valley National Rally, a round of the MSA National Gravel Rally Championship, and an event that the HPM Motorsport ace won in 2005.

Double British Rally Champion Jonny Milner made a successful return to the Tesco 99 British Rally Championship, as he finished 5th on the Pirelli International Rally. The Carlisle event featured two days of punishing stages in the renowned Kielder forest, and Milner was keen to get the season off to a good start after a season's absence.

Following on from a retirement last time out on the Brick and Steel Border Counties Rally, Scotsman Alistair Tough made the trip over to the Isle of Man for round three of the Subaru Group N Trophy and along with co-driver Ally Mackay, the pair ended up getting back to winning ways.

Multiple National Rally Champion Marcus Dodd finished a strong fifth on this weekend's RBS International Manx Rally, moving him to second overall in the MSA National Gravel Championship points standings. The Flitewise.com backed driver from Poole was on a consistent pace all through the two day event based in Douglas on the Isle of Man. Using the closed public tarmac roads of the motorsport mad island, Dodd turned in a measured points gathering performance in gloriously sunny weather conditions.

Bennetts British Superbike Championship - Round 4 - Oulton Park, Cheshire- 30th April/1st May



Following the disappointment of only finishing ninth in the opening race, Stobart Motorsport rider Michael Rutter bounced back with a battling sixth place in race two when round four of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship took place at a cool and blustery Oulton Park today.

After both riders failed to record a finish at their local track of Thruxton last time out, Etchilhampton near Devizes in Wiltshire brothers Ollie and Tommy Bridewell ventured north to Oulton Park for round four of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship and British Supersport Championship respectively, hoping for better luck.
