FOURTH PLACE FOR PEREZ IN BARBADOS OPENER

Shell V-Power 'King of the Hill' event in Barbados - Sunday 24th May



In front of thousands of fans gathered at Stewarts Hill in St Philip, Barbados on Sunday, Kick Energy rally driver Steve Perez powered to a fine fourth place at the Shell V-Power 'King of the Hill', which was the Barbados Rally Club's (BRC) final shakedown before the Caribbean's biggest annual motorsport event, Sol Rally Barbados 2009, next weekend (May 29-31).

Hill wins and takes points lead

Steve Hill (Aylesbury) won the fourth round of the Kumho Tyres MSA British Rallycross Championship at Lydden (May 25).



Hill won through at the end of a dramatic Superfinal, guiding his Mitsubishi Lancer E9 to his first event win of the year and with it take a three point lead in the championship.

2009 Pirelli MSA Gravel Rally Championship - Round 4 - Manx Telecom Rally - Fri 8th/ Sat 9th May 2009



Despite the changeable conditions that were prevalent throughout the weekend, former ANCRO Champions Paul Bird and Ian Windress saw off the weather as well as the opposition to take a comfortable victory by just under a minute in round four of the 2009 Pirelli MSA Gravel Rally Championship on the Manx Telecom Rally.
