Valuable Championship points and continued their run of success
by finishing 2nd 205 Scholarship crew and 8th overall in the

A slow puncture on the fourth and longest stage of the event saw the Image Design backed team lose time to eventual Peugeot 205 Challenge winners Chris Bayliss and Mark Mason.

For the second event running, Jeremy Easson/Den Golding and Steven Smith/John Nichols scored the major victories in the 2005 Armajaro MSA British Historic Rally Championship.
Round five of the championship, the Mid Wales Stages over the weekend [June 25/26] comprised 55 stage miles in the Hafren and Sweet Lamb region.

Knockhill - 26th June

National Superstock Championship


22-year-old Hinckley based rider Dave Johnson crashed out of 3rd place at the seventh round of the Metzeler National Superstock Championship at Knockhill at the weekend. Racing for Stoke-on-Trent based Xpress Racing Johnson was tied up in a 14-wheel battle for third place and it was looking like a secured podium until the front end tucked on him.

This weekend two Mazda rotary-powered Le Mans race cars from yesteryear excited the crowds of today at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Bringing back the excitement of racing at Le Mans, the two BF Goodrich Mazda-Lola T616 race cars sped up the famous hill climb giving the crowds a taste of how the cars set the stage for continued Mazda motorsport successes around the world back in 1984.

Knockhill Round 7 - 26th June

British Supersport Championships


It was another dramatic weekend for the Northpoint Honda Racing team consisting of 20-year-old Craig Jones and 19-year-old Cal Crutchlow. Jones once again secured a healthy podium position with a third place whilst main Championship rival Tom Sykes crashed out. Only five points now separate the top three in the Championship standings, the closest the British Supersport Class has been for years. Jones still heads up the Championship table with Crutchlow lying in a strong fifth position.

Keohane Makes A Welcome Return To Racing
