TWO WEEKENDS OF FUN AT CROFT

Modified & Performance North East and BARC National Championship Car Race Meeting


This Sunday (July 19th) sees the first of two consecutive weekends of action at the Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire, both of which offer something a little bit different!

The North's premier motorsport facility opens its doors on Sunday to the Modified and Performance North East Show which is aimed at the modified car market and plays host to an event that has been long overdue in this part of the country.

Open Championship title battle enters Manning's backyard in Wales

Pembrey Circuit (Carmarthenshire) near Llanelli, Wales plays host rounds six and seven of the 2009 Fuchs Lubricants Rallycross Open Championship on July 25th & 26th.



Drivers can only count their best six results out of the eight rounds of the Championship. However drivers must also count the final round of the Championship at Croft Circuit on Saturday October 31st as a points scoring round, meaning that the leading protagonists may have to discard one or two scores after Pembrey. Taking all of this into account, the title battle in all categories is still very much wide open.
